Lake Louise is one of the most photographed lakes in the world; couples travel from around the globe to have their wedding there. While it’s obviously a popular destination wedding location in the summer, several vendors and I wanted to showcase its incredible beauty in the winter, too! There is just something so cozy and inviting about the quiet calm of a winter wedding. Here is the content we created in hopes that it inspires others who might be considering having a winter wedding of their own:

At the beginning of each wedding season I try to find a few things I can focus on to improve my wedding photography. This year one of the focuses was to find unique landscapes to place my couples in. When Jackie and Ben got in touch with me, they mentioned they had looked into Iceland and New Zealand for places to elope and after a few emails back and forth about possibilities at each, we narrowed it down and chose Iceland for their elopement wedding. Words can’t describe how excited I was to go explore and shoot in such a beautiful place that had such a diverse landscape to work with. Jackie and Ben were both amazing as we traveled all over Southern Iceland documenting their special day. I’m sure it’s one none of us will ever forget. I just wanted to share a few images from their wedding that showcase how beautiful and unique the landscape was.
Thank you again, Jackie and Ben, for an amazing time and allowing me to document your wedding in Iceland!
